2012 Passat gets some screen time on ABC's The middle

I've watched the show a few times, and saw a teaser for this one while watching another show, and spotted the VW, so I recorded it.. I think they represented VW pretty well.. They did have a few errors.. The SE doesn't have remote start, and it did have the sunroof and Nav, but still had the 17" wheels, and no fog lights.. It was a 2.5 so maybe thats how they come... The TDI with Sunroof and Nav does have the 18" wheels and fog lights..

I like the show a lot, but the episode kinda seems like a bit of a commercial whenever the car was on screen, but this was obvious product placement. Still, I just chuckled how they showed off all the features like one of the kinds playing with the navigation system, or how quiet it was you could take a nap in it, and the trunk space, etc. Plenty of shots where you got a good look at the car. Plus instead of just saying "the car" they made sure to mention Passat by name a number of times.
