Possible??? What has changed from the stone cold NO to the NA market? 2012 is a luke warm model year for gti. DRL only new feature. No DSG and a turbo knock on the R.
If the 35 is truly being offered in NA that will spice up the year. Any chance on the production limit if released?
The edition 35 will only hit here as a 30th in 2013 if it does get here at all and my guess is that it will only be an appearance package and not the uprated 235 HP

What are the odds this engine becomes the new standard for the GTI? Could it make it’s way to the Tiguan or other models which have been using the 2.0?
